Ohh great question!! Briar had already been working as Prof. Cedar’s assistant for some time, so Briar and Summer met when Prof. Cedar brought her home for the first time! He was surprised that Cedar had brought a teenage girl home let alone deciding to adopt one.

Briar’s first impression: Briar was left out of the loop when Summer was first brought to Cedar’s residence. So he was incredibly confused as to what was happening. The only thing that was clear to him was that Summer was undeniably beautiful. He was entranced by her mismatch colored eyes and her long, blonde hair. He was so in awe of her beauty that he fumbled over his words when Cedar asked him to introduce himself. At this point his attraction was purely physical though.

Summer’s first impression: Summer’s first impression was quite the opposite XD as I mentioned before Summer is demisexual meaning you only develop sexual attraction to someone after developing a close bond with them. So initially Summer actually really didn’t think much about Briar other then being surprised with how tall he was. “Wow! You’re huge!” But like she is the first one to develop an actual crush later so there’s balance in their interest XD

Briar’s first impression is pretty similar to how he views her now. Doesn’t fully understand all the strange things about Summer’s physiology or ability to understand Pokémon. The only thing that surpasses his intrigue in her situation is his undeniable love for her. She has become his everything, and brings constant joy to his life.

Summer’s first impression is completely different from how she views Briar now. Now that the bond is there, so is the physical attraction. As y’all have seen she’s quite found of his booba XD jokes aside he has also become Summer’s everything. She often tells Briar that he is her rock. This is because she knows no matter what he will always support her, keep her grounded and motivate her. Summer doesn’t remember her past, but as long Briar is a part of her present she’s happy.
