if he's up for it, make him watch a playthrough of P3FES.
the movies aren't really good enough for a first experience (lots of holes in it)

More seriously I just really like to get my thoughts out, I really liked what i've done with Danganronpa V3 even tho it was still really simple and flawed.
If it can inspire people in the same way I fell in love with a lot of random people making essays on the internet about things I love it would already make me happy.
I do have others ambitions even tho they are more dreams than anything else but i'm not there yet

Is persona 2 worth playing? I heard that it was really different to the other games

definitely don't expect it to be like the other Persona games, it's really just a traditional SMT with the same setting than a Persona game and a few differences.
it's a pretty dated game but it's really worth it for the story, characters and soundtrack alone, definitely the peak of the series in that regard

Favorite horror/mystery game?

it's not horror but Danganronpa V3 is my favorite so far
there's a lot of mystery games in my plan to play list so that could change relatively soon

Persona 3, 4 and then 2 if you feel like it, it's a really good game but keep in mind it's nothing like the others
