The relationship between Edge and Mortiz is like "Godson and Godfather"
Eddge considers Mortiz as an Uncle, but on certain occasions he cannot help seeing him as a father, this because Gy (Eddge) never had the opportunity to meet his own father.

As for Mortiz, he sees Eddge as a Godson/Son/Friend, Eddge considers that Mortiz is the only person who understands him perfectly, after all for Mortiz to see Eddge's problems with both his family and his fear. For the future, it is not something that he has not experienced before with Eddge's father.
