How old are Cupid and Shanako? :o
This changes often actually depending on the universe I'm writing them in! While the both of them are always adults, Cupid is anywhere between 18-25 and Shanako is 24-29.
I'm not into super big age gaps personally, but Shanako is supposed to be a little bit older and wiser than Cupid, who's a young girl in her 20s and doesn't know what shes doing half the time (shes just like me frfr)

Cupid is an angel, She's a cherub to be specific! however she has my setting specific lore. For example, she's also half-fae :)

As for a favorite era, I actually don't really have one! I kinda just make whatever comes to mind? My friends also help me when it comes to designing Cupid's clothes. Mior and Domino send me a lot of inspiration images and I just go wild with them ngl

Can you tell us a bit about the relationship between your characters?
Cupid and Shanako are two very different personalities! Shanako, despite how scary she looks to some is a very kind hearted soul if not a bit goofy. Think 2018 shera's Adora! While Cupid is a very anxious and reclusive soul.
If I'm to be honest...the two of them are very mentally ill individuals that's dressed up to look pretty. Helps me cope with my mental and physical health a ton!
Cupid is very anxious and afraid of the world around her, she grew up very sheltered and very afraid of the outside world. When her kingdom was taken and the whereabouts of her family being unknown, Cupid has to someone learn to live on her own. Cupid, like myself has autism.
Shanako is a survivor of an abusive relationship, and holds a lot of trauma because of it. She's very protective of Cupid, in a sometimes restrictive way even, because she's afraid to see her be hurt by a society that really frowns upon her. Draconic vs Angelic cultures are super different, so they don't mix very well.
Cupids very kind and gentle, and Shanako isn't used to that at all. While Cupid isn't used to having to function without her family, and has to learn to adjust to change rather than avoid it all. The two help heal one another and learn to navigate the world together in a "it'll all turn out okay in the end" type of way :)

What does true north mean? Is she just a northern princess?
True North is something I made up! One of Cupid's symbolic things is the Northern Star. Both from biblical themes and "Evangeline" from princess and the frog.
Cupid is a cherub, and those are seen as protectors. Guardian angels, kinda!
She's seen as "true good" or a symbol of heaven. Heaven is often seen as the "true home" within religious circles, so people believe that Cupid is capable of guiding people to be a pure version of themselves, and thus allowing them to get through the pearly gates. The full quote is "For she is True North, I pray my soul follow her home."
