Honestly there was a good period of time where Mani and Khani kind of were scrimmage partners; Khani was great at keeping Mani on his toes, and Khani liked to watch him flail around lmao. For a long time it was just that; Khani thought he was a pompous asshole and treated him as such, and Mani found them INCREDIBLY annoying but couldn't deny he was getting better.

It kind of started shifting once Khani spotted him after he stayed late at his job. He looked like shit, and was too tired to even retaliate at their jabs because he hadn't eaten. Khani invited over to their family's restaurant and the rest is kind of history. He gets invited over for meals here and there, and Khani's Auntie insists on having them bring him food every once in a while.

It definitely helps that Auntie loves Mani because he can help her with the shop's taxes.🤪
