any tips on coloring for a beginner cause this blending shit is nuts π i try to multiply and whatever the fuck else and it just never works out like π
Oh the coloring dilemma π. For me( I use procreate btw)I try to establish my light and shadow first in B&W and then I just mess with a combination of gradient maps, color balance and CURVES. I get really interesting colors and values when I mess with the Gamma option. Also multiply is awesome when deciding my lights and shadows. I just duplicate my layer, multiply it and then erase! And then I focus on my midtones. But curves and gradient maps have saved me for sure! Perhaps one day I'll upload a full drawing process. You will see my struggle slowed down π.
