QOTD: idk im curious whats yalls birth stone

i'm pretty sure may is emerald, but i once went to a rock shop that claimed it was based on zodiac signs and that mine was black onyx as a result of that, so i'm not sure which is correct! i feel like the second one was just a shop looking to sell more and cheaper rocks
