I believe most on here use them, at least to some degree (this includes pronouns, I’d say)— including myself.
Do you find them important to your identity as a person? Would you be just as ‘you’ without them? Or are they defining?
If you were to (for whatever reason) not be able to use any labels, would it bother you?
And what lead you to using the labels you do now, or what lead you towards using labels at all? —
i mean ... if identity labels help you, use them. if not, don't. i guess i don't endorse them, in the sense that i don't think they are necessary. i use labels myself, but only as much as they help me. i think people place too much weight on them sometimes. i was talking yesterday with someone about this and like. idk. especially with trans+ & neurodivergent people, labels can be way too limiting if you put too much weight on them. idc either way. nothing is real. human categorizing is stupid.

most would say they do pretty often, and pretty openly, I’m sure. But on here (retrospring) I think it’s alright to admit its just a little bit more complicated; when defending, or even openly supporting your friend(s) can get you dragged just as bad as them, if not worse, (typically no matter how bad the offending behaviour is)— is it really worth going out of your way to show your support?
what would it take for you to go to the next level? if you currently don’t openly show support, what would it take for you to do so? or if you do, but wouldn’t if it got you in trouble, what exactly what it take for you to feel the importance in the situation, leading you to think you have no choice BUT to help contribute towards your friends public image?

my friends aren't weird so i don't usually have any need to defend them. while i would be biased towards my friends if it was anything i truly did not want to associate with, i would be open to changing my mind haha. if my friends need me to consistently defend them i'd rather just not be friends that's not why i make friends

if someone that you were online friends with (not close in the sense of talking about your actual lives, but more so just chatting about online things) were to meet you in person, randomly, that you would still be friends?
i can understand why not— i mean, if you bonded over online things, when you meet in person, well your instinct probably won’t be to talk about those things. so your entire relationship is different.
but lets say you do talk about online things in person. and you meet them, without knowing it’s them. are there any features or traits you have that you feel would completely change your entire friendship? —

i try to not change between the two as much as i used to. i consider my online friends as deeply important as my irl friends and i think they deserve the fullest extent of who i am as much as irls do. i don't think if u change between the two that u think otherwise but that's my reasoning simplified

do you think you have fans? maybe not die hard ones, but simply people who think you’re ‘cool’ to the point they could look up to an aspect of what you do, or want to befriend you?
maybe they think your theme is always cuter than everyone else’s— or that you answer with so much thoughtfulness it’s a delight to just interact with you!
have you ever considered the fact there is probably a user here (maybe even one of your moots!) that looks up to you, and would want to befriend you? do you think thats possible for you?
and do you yourself look up to or want to be friends with any of your moots…?

i'm kinda cray so maybe i'm wrong but irl there are a lot of people who i feel semi-idolize me and i won't say i hate it--i definitely like being seen in that light since i am not used to it. but it's also kinda crazy for me to have people be as "invested" in me as people are. so not really on rs--though if any of you ARE fans you should be spamming my inbox tf? but i do think i have people who idolize me to some degree.
