On the form is a catagory for additional materials, can I ask what this includes? And if you include gifs and animations in this catagory?
It includes basically anything that wouldn't fit in a PDF, essentially! Gifs and animation are included!

Would an 800 word writing piece be acceptable or is it absolutely required to be over 1k? I haven't got much recent published writing that goes over 1k :'D
Take some chunks out of your 2k pieces for some of the prompts for one or two of the submissions. I'll accept your shorter piece with some of those.

Me and my friends are planning to make a single piece collab, should we fill the group form or individual form?
If you all are only making one submission, fill out the group form and have the person acting as the contact fill out the individual form and specify that information in the comments section.

Does it have to be like a story? I currently have a list of IDs for my OC and how they'd work mechanically, but I don't know if that counts.
It doesn't have to be a story. You can do that, character profiles, datalogs, etc. Please just specify that in the final section of the application.

A two-page spread will count as your one allotted piece. With the way the digital-viewing PDF will be formatted, it will look like one double-sided page.

You would submit 2-3 artworks and 2-3 writings, and then specify if you would like to do one or the other (and preference on which one) or both, such as a piece of writing with art included in paragraph breaks or in margins.

In the 'application criteria' it said we could write 2-3 one-shots consisting of 1-2K words, I was wondering if it was possible to chain these one-shots as 'parts' to possibly make a longer story broken up?
They can be, just one of them needs to be able to stand on its own. If, for example, part one makes sense on its own, and the other two pieces expand on that, then that would be fine.

why is the zine 16+ participants only? in my opinion it's a sort of restrictive age, isn't pjm 15+? genuine question no hate or anything, genuinely curious
The first game, Lob Corp, is 15+. However, their later games are 17 and 18+. 16 is a good median age to reconcile the difference in rating.

Can we use an OC from an Au(alternative universe/timeline) of the pm world?
Yes, as long as they still fit into the overall world as a whole. (i.e. let's say you have an EGOtist from a world where Lob Corp went according to plan, that would be fine.)

It's a "for fun free" zine! No money will be changing hands at any point.
