But people in the fandom say its misogyny to criticize this. They say female characters are morally gray, but nobody in the narrative is allowed to dislike them. People can dislike Alhaitham more than they can dislike Ei. What's the point of hyping up a morally gray female character if they're not allowed any conflict or anyone disliking them? The same goes for Honkai. All they want is uwu content, but mlm ships have to be just hate.
Ei would be a far better character if she had to deal with the consequences of her actions properly.
People need to realize that Genshin is very lazy with their female characters writing and have to waifu them all
