Okay, so there's a really funny story about this. A month ago, I logged in to Arknights for the morning, did the usual shebang with the base, credits and daily stage stuff, right?

I go in to do my recruitment, I have 3 refresh opportunities. I also had four recruitments ready to be picked up. The first bag was Kroos, the second bag was Spot, the third bag was Popukar, the fourth was a Popukar as well.

After this I checked each spot for the tags, I see that I have TWO of them with a guaranteed 4* combo, I have enough quick recruit permits, I quickly smash through those. Got a Gravel and a Dobermann in the process.

I check those two spots again to find I have ANOTHER two guaranteed 4* op combo. I still have enough quick recruit permits, I quickly smash through those. Got a Frostleaf and a Rope in the process.

Now, you would expect me to say that I got a top op tag next? No, I got a SENIOR operator tag. I'm ecstatic, I'm jumping for joy internally, I go and realize I can get a guaranteed Cliffy (because who doesn't love her). I'm rushing so fast through the menu that I forgot... to set... the timer to nine hours...

I cried a little on the inside.

But! Out of curiosity, I still finished the hour long recruitment because I was full of spite. Miraculously, I got a Shaw for my efforts (due to Shift tag).

So now, you would think I got that top op tag, right? Right?

Absolutely. Checking the spot I found, sitting there, a nice top op tag sitting there. I saw that there was a chance to get Exusiai, because there was a Sniper tag (unfortunately, nothing more that would help me specifically get her). So I select Top Operator tag and Sniper tag... tenderly check the timer to make sure it's at 9 hours... and when I click the start button...

I realize I don't have LMD. I was broke from raising... I think I was trying to get one of my four stars to E2 at the time and I did it before recruitment (because ever LMD counts). I was REALLY broke at the time lol. Anyway, I head on over to the base to use the drones to speed trading post facility progress when OH NO-just kidding I got the cash.

So I head my ass back on over to recruitment, tap the spot, select "Top Op" and "Sniper" tags, set the timer to 9, check my lmd and permit amounts are okay, DOUBLE check the entire thing and press start.

And thus began the nine hour wait.
