oh my fucking god is shiho an amazing character. ive been going kind of crazy lately thinking about everything about them and getting crazy protective over everyone else talking about them 😭 i think their writing is just. amazing. but what always makes me so SAD is that NO ONE KNOWS THIS. because NO ONE READS THEIR STORIES 😭😭😭😭 i saw such a hilariously awful take on them on tiktok the other day and it just. made me laugh. people need to stop pretending like shiho has an inferiority complex with their music. i can assure u that guy is amazing and knows it. now their thoughts on their own person (early game) was so entirely different. honestly its rlly interesting to have a character who believes so strongly in themself with their passion and abilities and yet hates themself so badly for the person they perceive themself to be. early game shiho is so fun to explore and think about oughghh i hate them.

anyways. yapping. ive been thinking about middle school shiho a bit recently. mainly bc i started thinking about what i think leoni bloomfes card stories could possibly be like? ive read kanade and ruis and they were both really good. i’m thinking about shiho like. hmmm. i dont rlly know what moment could arise from baby shiho like that. and also i think a convo between baby shiho and current shiho wouldnt be That interesting. cause baby shiho and current shiho r way more similar than current shiho and middle school shiho. esp when baby shiho flashback from stick to ur faith is exactly what made shiho realized what they wanted to portray in their music. what their dream is as a professional. obviously theyre not the same but i think baby shiho would see shiho as they are now and be like We made it :) <— knew they would bc theyre a badass 10 year old who knows theyre gonna reach big.

thats all to say i think itd be way more interesting if middle school shiho was kind of the focus of the … card conflict? maybe something with middle school shiho vs current shiho. i think thaaaat could be rlly cool. middle school shiho who yearns so hard for leoneed but thinks they just hurt them by being close to them vs current day shiho whos accepted the person they are wholeheartedly, confident in their choice to be uncompromising, and achieving their dream with leoneed :)

idk i was just thinking and i thought middle school shiho seeing shiho with leoni again and being like “You're just going to get them hurt. What are you doing” would be interesting bc they used to believe they were a burden to the others just by existing, feelings that persisted pretty heavily until rwy ish. so. that's my idea for shiho bloomfes. and then shiho can be like No we’re not a burden . blah blah blah peace and love shiho loves themself now. goddd shihos such a good character. character who realizes that who they are isnt bad and theyre not a burden and they dont hurt their friends just by existing. and they dont change who they are they just learn to love themself 😭😭😭😭😭 i dont think people give shiho enough credit for the morals of their story. their growth is accepting and becoming so much stronger and connected to their emotions and being confident in just being Themself without worrying about hurting the others. idk. i love u shiho. i get annoyed when ppl act like shiho is a character who struggles with their emotions bc yeah that was so very obviously true early game but now they’re literally so accepting of their emotions and self and can portray how they’re feeling very well . like theres a reason shiho was the first one to get that middle school event. when the other three were crying over shihos story, shiho was just like I told you guys you dont have to cry 😅 its not something sad they look back on rlly. its just a time they look back on with a chuckle bc they were stuck in their own head in that time and just a stupid middle schooler. but now theyre here in the present and theyve accepted what happened as what happened and now theyre just focusing on every day as they keep moving towards their dream… shiho is a very grounded character. i like them.

okay that was my yap. shiho bloomfes ideas. and then an ensuing rant i wasnt planning to do. didnt know whwre i was going with that yap until i started typing. i was gonna maybe talk about shiho and being autistic bc i was thinking about how ichishiho are such awesome portrayals of autistic characters earlier but then i went in a different direction so.
