Hey-hey !

I’ve regrettably , quickly grown to be the same in terms of how often I use Retro spring
I love almost all of the things that you can do on this site and what it offers
My only 2 issues are that unlike Curious Cat , you can’t properly reply on here , you can comment , but there’s a super restrictive word limit , so you have no other choice but to make a completely new post
I also don’t like how I can’t seem to find anybody around my age to talk with
I do love the idea of the public timeline , but mostly everyone on here all seem so young , and with 8 out of 10 answers usually being a line or 2
I would scroll through the timeline late at night , and I have not again come across anything that has caught my attention since your post and another user’s , who I’ve technically spoken to a bit before you on that night , but has sent me an inbox after you
I feel like I have some commonalities with her , as I may with you
I’m 26 , she’s 6 years younger than me though , ha , and if I had to guess , you’re probably super young as well
I just want to talk with people my age or close enough
I’m just not getting that with this site and I’m very close to even giving up
The issue is more so that I’ve read a lot of nonsense in the public timeline
I don’t know , will give it another week , and I’ll look to read the timeline much earlier and see if that makes any difference , because I presume now that mostly degenerates are up at night on here
I initially presumed that late at night is just when most people would be on and active , so I’ll see how the activity is during the day
Ha , sorry , I’m yapping away as I’ve only replied so far to you saying that you rarely check your Retro spring

Do people not say bad internet manners ?
Ha , am I actually that old ?

Some years ago , I did strongly believe that we’re not owed anything
Now , I do think that we are owed some things
For a site like this that’s about writing & asking & replying , I would say that you are owed a response
It’s quite alright if people don’t write me back a similar or greater length in message , but I personally feel that I owe the other person a message that truly feels like an essay and open conversation , ha , as I’m trying to do right now
In terms of time , I feel like I should not reply back to a person no later than 3 days , 1 week is quite alright if I do have a good enough reason
I do also want to get better with time and reply back to people in at least a day after
On the other hand , I do like having a few days to think more about what I want to say and share with a person

I do ramble on a lot though , and so I hope it doesn’t come across as if I’m repeating myself or trying to reach a high word count

I will say that I know nothing about fashion
At home , I still wear the pants that my mom has made me all those many years ago , she’s made like 6 or so of them , 5 of them have the same patterned cloth , and only 1 of them is different in color

I also have a bunch of grey and blue t-shirts
Ha , I’m pretty much a cartoon character with what I wear
I rarely go out , and so I only have 2 pairs of dark blue jeans that I bought last year from this Korea clothing store online , because I just really like the look and texture of it , super comfortable like pajama pants
And 2 dark blue t-shirts that’s meant for outside and to handle hot weather
And yeah , that’s really it from me , I’m as plain as one can get
Ha , and yes , I wear a lot of blue , because blue is really the only color that I can look good in
I’d say that I’m like a 3 or 4 out of 10 , but when I’m wearing blue , I feel like I can relinquish a little bit of my self-deprecation , and put myself up to a 5 or 6 out of 10
I initially bought grey because I remember seeing someone wear such and thought that they looked so cool in it
I did not buy the same kind of grey shirts that they were wearing , ha , because it was obviously super expensive
And my grey shirts now unironically , represent how dull my life is , ha , and I’m even wearing grey right now as I write up all of this

I watch a lot of ASMR , more so K-pop unboxings and photo cards storing videos that operate as ASMR

I really love listening to people talk about their interests and random things for long lengths of time

I unfortunately don’t know any other sewing channels , but I feel like Frieda Lepold is the only one that you’d ever really need
And I do hope that you find your courage
Oh , and she has released a new video a few days ago
In watching it , I’ve realized that I didn’t even ask you if you can also draw what you might want to make
Ha , I completely overlooked in asking you that simple question

When I was about 17 or 18 and finally had my own room , used to share a room with my brother , I do remember wanting to keep and get some more stuffed bears
For some reason I didn’t

Also never got them for some reason
The only interesting thing in my room is my bookshelf / books
I do have a Supernatural art book though !

Anyways , I am getting a bit too general in what I’m trying to say and share

You don’t have to show it of course , ha , and well , I’m not sure how you even would on here
You can give me a description of them if you wouldn’t mind writing it out

If anything , I should apologize to you since I’ve written more than I should and rambled on about general yet related things and didn’t keep this conversation in lane and remain more direct

It really is a nice feeling having a complete stranger be a well-wisher towards you
