Some things to consider:
- Central Axis has lost both Diaspora and the Omega-3 (including Dex), both of which were their best assets. They're also incredibly slow at things and preparing either of them again will take 20,000 years for Diaspora and 600 years for the Omega-3.
- Yatima has also joined their ranks but officially her induction (and presumably the start of her service) is in 400 years.
- By the time either of these things have happened all our current protags will be long gone and at most we'd be looking several generations down their family lines.
- The Foe has also lost Grace and Heisenberg who seemed to be the masterminds of the Phantagrande scene. Their MO anyway was to prepare the sky realm for the moondweller invasion which appears to be successful. In this skydom at least, I doubt they're still in operation though maybe a new leader could start things up again.
- We've just had an 'epilogue' event (Ramen Travels with Cassius)
- The Otherwordly beings have now also presented themselves as a villain but Ilsa has demonstrated they're not even difficult to dispatch anymore so they're unlikely to have any substantial weight like the automagods did. They're also fairly standard and not unique to the Society line. They've established a link in Beatrix's storyline but I doubt it'll be event worthy material and if it gets resolved it'll prob be an flb thing. Theres also the thing with Grace being in the underworld but shrugs

Given that we've ended the storyline thats been built up since Right Behind You (if not arguably Gripping Freedom), I think either:
- The event line is over for good so they can use the Society's event slot for a new set of characters.
- We perhaps see the Society getting restructured - it has gone through a massive upheaval after all with losing several of its top dogs. I think Ilsa is highly likely to get a rank raise and Eustace has potential too though I don't think he really likes that sort of stuff so it'd only be if they really really needed him in that position.
- We move to a different skydom and/or set of protags (i.e. not the weapon contractors) with new conflicts. Necessaria is from the Nahlegrande faction i think though I assume they're saving his moments for the main story.
