(Closeted 20 y.o. again) Wanted to say thank you for the advice, I appreciate it very much :) Sorry to bother again, but had something else to ask! You’ve mentioned you struggle with social anxiety, and I do too! About found family, how have you been able to overcome social anxiety and find friends? (Particularly in queer spaces!) No need to respond if you don’t want to, you already took time to answer my first question and I appreciate that so much! :)

Honestly, time and therapy. It took a lot to get past the worst stages of my social anxiety. I was lucky enough to have several friends who decided they'd help try and pull me out of my shell. I did therapy and started trying to push out of my comfort zone. Tbh it did lead to a few panic attacks at parties, but my friends were always understanding and continued inviting me out. I learned how to make myself comfier in those social situations, but its something I still struggle with to this day, even though it may not look like it. Its definitely miles better from where I was, but like I said, it takes a lot of time and effort (in my experience)
