Ohoho there's a LOT to get through. OrcaWire...Orca x Wireglasses...Antagonist x antagonist...
They knew each other since mid-S2 for time reference. Orca recalled (although he barely remembers a lot) the Octarian propaganda he had been fed at a young age, which made him fear the 'brutal' and 'controlling' inklings. Yet when they met, Wireglasses never displayed any of this. Wireglasses became someone Orca quickly relied on, even compared to the other Octolings he was exposed to through Wireglasses, and Wireglasses had no opinion on that. He had found Orca in need, after all. And Wireglasses decided that he may as well help out. They had a good relationship honestly, but after the FinalFest, the relationship became strained. Wireglasses wanted something bigger, and Orca believed Wireglasses was gonna leave him so Orca cut contact with Wireglasses before that could happen. This was when he gathered his team prior to Kensa Team, hoping to build himself up.

Fast forward to S3, Orca dropped that team and formed Kensa Team in hopes on rivalling Wireglasses' team. After beating X-Blood, Wireglasses found Orca. Approached him and challenged his team. And Orca, after adapting a newer personality to help against coping without Wireglasses - a sharper more cocky one, had agreed. Kensa Team lost and the weapons were black labelled. And Orca, himself, could be classified as a weapon so Wireglasses black labelled HIM. It lead to Blanco forcing to take care of him. Yet after Blue Team defeated Wireglasses' team, and after it was found out how to remove black labels they...Slowly began talking again. It was awkward on both sides but, they made it work. Slowly but surely they...Just drifted towards each other.

Note - Wireglasses never viewed Orca as an enemy or rival. He viewed Orca as just someone before now, unlike Orca who went through the phase of seeing him as a friend to seeing him as a rival then to now.
