The gnarliest injury I've ever experienced was when I think I was about 10 or so. I was playing baseball with some kids with a paddle racket instead of a bat. Kid hits the ball, and throws the paddle behind him and catches me right in the forehead. I had to go to the hospital and get stitches for the gash that opened up in my head.
