Is it time for me to bash Doom Eternal again?

I cannot stand the level design and most of the writing in that game, plus combat makes me feel like I'm going insane compared to 2016. I'm never ready for every encounter because ammo is so scarce and the upgrades don't really help that much overall.

But I love the way the game controls, the weapons and their upgrades, plus the music kicks ass!
