hello non-oomf here! i saw your tweet abt midochia and there's absolutely nothing problematic or wrong abt the ship. it's just that some ppl (especially the eng part of the fandom) dont like 1st/3rd year ships and mdca's dynamic is often misunderstood as father/son but this is clearly wrong as midori himself states to be annoyed whenever chiaki tries to acts as his guardian or parental figure (and a big part of ryuseitai's whole deal is how the juniors want to be seen as equals to their seniors so saying they have this type of nuclear family relationship is blatant mischaracterization
,,)so yeah midochia has a very cute dynamic and the amount of hate it gets is so unnecessary imo😭
