Anne, I'm just one of your mutuals and we rarely talk, yet you seem so good at giving advice and I feel like you're wise enough. I want to ask, is it valid that I feel jealous with my old friend (which no longer my friend anymore) because she achieved so many things and even better than I did? She's even way smarter. I know this is so wrong of me, but I can't help it either. Have you probably felt this? How top stop feeling like this?
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to me about your situation. I completely understand how you feel, as jealousy is a common emotion that people experience. It’s important to remember that everyone has their own unique journey and path in life, and it’s natural to feel envious of someone who seems to have achieved more than you have. However, it’s also important to recognize that this feeling of jealousy may be counterproductive and only serve to hold you back from achieving your own goals. Instead of comparing yourself to others, try to focus on your own accomplishments and progress, and celebrate the successes that you have had. Remember that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it’s okay to not be the best at everything. I hope this helps, and if you need any more advice or someone to talk to, feel free to reach out to me. Okay?
