I was actually a fan of many furry artists since I was a teen. There was barely anything of what you'd think of furries these days, but I followed some people that drew very new styles at the time. A lot of kemono artists, too. It was easy to run into strange interests since the most accessible place for me to find art was on imageboards back then. I didn't start posting until years later because I was way too shy.
