Mouthwahimg. Mouthwashimg. Um. Literally what it is aside, it’s kind offff. It happens to be a lot of my favourite tropes and styles of setting charafter story and overarching playstyle n stuff. Being on a ship with people who have their own little issues amd Also theres a big event that happens sets up a lot for people to like, u know?

Because it immediately splits it in two—pre event and post event. Isn’t that perfect for people who want to write like silly headcanond akd sfuff? They dont need to pretend something didnt happen, they can just make it before the big thing happened. Its so much more umm. Real that way!!! And with post event, you can look at the details of characters and stuff…….

It reminds me a bit of alien stage—being so lovely at character relationships that it’s easy to get attachef to them in such a short amount of time. Every dialogue line can be analyzed and thought anout and stuff and thats fun. It’s a good playtime, and the non linear gameplay is underrated as both a form of entertainment but as a form of storytelling. Wrong organ does it pretty well.

Also, arguably a great series to make an oc to. Everyone is relatively different, and context wise it is not a stretch at all to place ur little guy in there. You could just say it was on a previous trip or something.

Not to mention the time they spend on their ship gives even better options for writimg ocs and headcanond and stuff. These people are together for a whole year, on this haul. Like. If it was some month or so, you wouod be limited. But not much limit to a year.
