I’m not sure that anyone pointed it out yet but to me the way Minghao has been treating Joshua throughout time passes really does not feel antagonistic, more like an internal conflict that Joshua greatly misinterprets. We already know he’s not the most reliable narrator, I think he’s just so focused on everyone having a problem with him that he doesn’t think Minghao can have a problem with something else (himself, possibly?). I know he is supposed to be the “bad guy” of the story but I don’t really see him like that. you said there’s not gonna be a happy ending but I do hope that we get to know what the other characters are thinking outside of Joshua’s screwed perspective lol
