Varita is a warden in charge of a precinct's jail who patrols the place, escorts prisoners into or out of their cells, and stands on guard during interrogations. She works specifically with her fellow teal coworkers Valtra and Pyrroh (both belong to ragnarozzy) and often works with Rorzak (also ragnarozzy) who she shares a good friendship with.
Originally Vari was studying law for a typical Alternian lawyer career but had a very hard time with it due to seeing just how arbitrary the legal system is. It all became too much when he started to fail and burnout and eventually dropped out. However given how little of a choice tealbloods specifically have in their roles, Varita opted to train and become a warden instead which I imagine to be a brutal process, especially with how her heart is. She essentially trained to force herself to endure the physical and mental torment of this kind of training and unfortunately assumes that she failed studying because she isn't smart enough which is OTL
