I thought all the characters were the “Arknights” I got Nearl really early and I thought that most of the characters were going to be knights

Sadly I was wrong but at the same time I’m glad I was since I like the variety

Do we even know wtf Arknights means? Is it a reference to the fact that Rhodes is like Noah’s Ark and our operators are the “knights” of this Ark?

Or maybe it’s more literal and it’s just “Ark” which means something that gives protection or safety and knights.

But then why is it one word? Will a character ever say “We are Arknights?” So many questions that I’m too stupid to answer
