Do you also weirdly get upset at stupid and usually not serious shit like as an example for me one of the things I have is this nonexistent rule where when I’m making personal fanart for a show or movie I like or maybe even just having personal interpretations of said mediums I absolutely cannot do anything that’s out of character or at least TOO out of character or I’ll genuinely at least feel like I’m having a meltdown or some shit and I’m so jealous of those that do not have this problem at all cause it feels so childish and debilitating but I cannot shake it off.

YES. YES I DO. ESPECIALLY when it comes to art that depicts someone doing something out of character. I came across the issue a LOT in the RnM fandom when they would ship them and make Rick lovey and romantic for seemingly no reason and ide be clenching my fucking fist because ppl can draw whatever they want but jesus fucking christ.
