Stop virtue signalling and stop stanning them all together if you have so much shit against them because I know you know that Str4y Kids have complete creative control over their content.
You're getting blocked after I answer this question jsyk and I'm going to copy paste sth I told a friend about this same situation except they were super sweet about it and I actually like talking to them.
"Right, so I've thought of this obsessively almost bc what they're saying is completely right. Everyone knows that Stray Kids have an almost unprecedented level of creative freedom with their work when you compare them with a majority of the other idols in the industry.
I worked on the timeline and what not and the very first time Stray Kids and Puth were mentioned together was on the 20th of October last year (he shared a picture of Stray Kids sending him a meal or whatever on his IG stories) 13 days after the Palestine-Israel war became global news.
At that point not a lot of people knew the history behind the genocide or who was supporting it, who wasn't, who were Zionists, etc. so there's a chance that the Collab was already well underway atp.
Now, if we assume that they've already started on it, sth else that we all know about JYPE is that they're a greedy fucking company with no morals whatsoever (the coca cola collab among a long list of other shit).
And according to my very limited knowledge there are fees that need to be paid for collabs and an artist like Puth wouldn't have come cheap + JYPE would've footed the bill bc at the end of the day, Stray Kids are their employees and they must've seen this as a good investment on the Kids' popularity in the west.
It was also around this time that their feature with Lil Durk happened as well (Oct. 12/13) so my guess is that JYPE had these lined up for some time.
When you take all these points into consideration, I don't think JYPE thought that the war in Palestine would ever directly affect their work one day. And by now, it's too late to back out and their best course of action would be to just see it through to the end bc according to that timetable they released, there are MVs and acoustic versions and all that too.
So this feature with Charlie can be written off as a one time fluke in regards to him being a Zionist.
HOWEVER.
When you consider all the nasty stuff Charlie supports (fucking Dr Luke and he refused to stand up for Kesha + he said he considers Dr Luke a role model, the sick fuck), I'm honestly on the fence too bc I'm a firm believer in judging a person by the company they keep.
Right now I think that the boys didn't know about Charlie's history with being a misogynistic rape apologist bc not a lot of people knew about what a disgusting pos Charlie Puth was bc he sort of faded into the background over there, BUT if Stray Kids continue to mingle with people like Charlie then I'm going to have to rethink a lot of things, ykwim?
Also, tbvh, everyone knows how fucked up South Korea is when it comes to gender equality and women's rights and all that in the first place, so there COULD also be a possibility that some of the boys/JYPE knew about all this and simply didn't care too, which if it's true I'll have to personally rethink some stuff all over again.
But until that day comes I'm going to do my own thing, stick to my morals, and enjoy my life outside Kpop like I've always done bc that's the biggest mistake I think a lot of people who are defending this Collab are making."
