The people who complain about 'feminization' of male characters are usually also just extremely yaoi-biased and focus on nothing but yaoi(bonus points if its bara) #nooticing
Tbh you're right. idk if I get the bara point though I don't think that many people are into bara? But yeah it tends to be yaoi enjoyers and it tends to specifically be people who think being a feminine gay man is "bad" and "stereotypical" when it's actually just like... a common thing irl
