chiming in on the whole ghost age thing here. if ghost/protag is underage, then THK/PV should be too if the birthplace cutscene is to be believed.

Thats true! I have always headcanon-ed them as a grown up vessel with the mind of a child, that simply never got to mature/feel due to their training.
