For the contributor application, will it be done via google forms? And will we have to send a portfolio or can we just show our social media page?

yeah! it will be done through google forms, portfolios are required but there will also be a social media question so we can use your email, or socials to contact you!

we DID have mod applications end slightly earlier than expected, but if our schedule changes due to that, or other reasons, it would definitely be updated on our carrd!

are fanon designs/headcanons allowed? liiike if i draw certain character too different from canon is it still valid?

We'd prefer if you keep the designs close to canon as possible! minor headcanons or small detail changes are allowed but the character must remain recognizable :)

for the interest check ... can techncially "faceless" bands (like free association, turquoise october, and octoplush) be submitted as bands you'd like to see? they are my favorites :pray:

'Faceless' bands will not be featured in this volume unfortunately as they go into fan design territory and everyone would have an entirely different intrepretation of their designs, perhaps next time :(

We'll be accepting contributors who are 16+ BUT they won't be able to receive compensation in the form of real moola, their part is going to be donated to whichever charity is decided later on.

Yes you may! but having them would be preferred as it'll give us an idea of how well you can draw the diverse characters

if idol content is allowed will it be moderated so that there is a balance between splatbands and idol stuff? (asking because the idols are wayyy more popular but id like to see content of the smaller musicians!) <3

Idols are just an inkling of the music scene here in Inkadia (pun ABSOLUTELY intended) us indie creators are gonna make sure we make a bigger banger than those guys!!

[Contributors will be made aware of the details but yes we'll be making sure idol content is on a limit! We want to spotlight the music scene so they'll be there but they'll be treated as just any other music band :) - mods]
