You have to set a number 1-10 for the loudness of your voice in a world where its loudness determines its importance and how much it's heard over others. You're stuck with this number for life. What do you choose?
One part of my neuropathy at one point affected my vocal cords and I had to learn to speak again. I value my voice loud or soft now. The number doesn't matter although I cant shout without causing myself a lot of pain.
