Hi I just fount out about this beautiful Zine and was wondering if I can also add something to it too, or is it too late?
Hello Cosmonaut, apologies on the delayed reply. Unfortunately, contributor acceptance has already passed and our creation period has started. We are also very close to final submissions so we wouldn’t be able to add anyone else at this time. We will be releasing the zine on Mina’s birthday after final formatting touches, though! 💫💖

If accepted, will the SFW and NSFW parts of the zine server be firmly kept apart? I'd joined a sfw/nsfw zine before and the nsfw talk was not very well managed or kept to the appropriate channels. Will you guys monitor that?
Yes, both sections will be kept separate in the server. There will also be the ability to add the NSFW role for viewing and using those channels.

Will the pitches we apply with be assinged to us?
Hi Cosmonaut! App pitches will be put on the sheet, but we won’t be approving pitches before anyone gets in, and these are free to change after applicant gets in. 💖

How many submissions do you expect from each participant looks at the singular Mina fic I wrote
We are still confirming and finalizing application related information as we were waiting on IC results before finalizing. We will reach back out as soon as we can with an answer!
Our Carrd (http://starburstzine.carrd.co) will be updated once we confirm everything for applications.
We are aiming to have a defined answer in the next few weeks.

What word count would writers be expected to aim for?
Hello and thank you for the question! Right now we are looking at 3k max word count. However, we are still defining contributor applications and zine information as we just added our final two mods. Interest Check, which opens on October 20th, may impact word count, as well.

I know the FAQ says the content restrictions for the NSFW are TBD but is the companion NSFW PDF itself already a for sure thing or is it something that will be fully decided upon completing the mod team? I'd love to apply to format the zine but the NSFW pdf holds me back ^w^;;
The inclusion of the NSFW companion zine is something that has already been decided by the current mod team and we do not plan on changing our decision about it. While we would love to welcome more formatting mod applicants, the NSFW companion zine is something that has been planned from the start and is an integral part of the project. If this is not something you're interested in, we totally understand and hope that you continue to support us in the future!

Would you consider extending mod apps?
Yes! Mod apps have now been extended by one week, to be closed on Oct. 7th.
Following this change, we will not be updating the schedule. Mod app results will still go out on Oct. 7th as planned, and everything after is still slated to stay the same!

Your not accepting interns?
No, we do not plan to accept intern mods. While we would love to help others gain experience, the current mod team is not prepared to take on a mentor/guidance role for interns. Thank you for your understanding!
