Hi! Checking in on timing since there was another comment about the schedule being reworked. Any ETA for preorders?
Our current ETA for preorders is Late May Early June! If there are any updates we'll let everyone know through Twitter and Tumblr so keep an eye out!

Will the names of the minor arcana suits be the typical ones (wands, swords, cups, pentacles) or will they be changed to something more owl house-specific?
We've changed the names of our suits to be owl house related, specifically to the glyph!

for the accepted artists, we have to upload a short quote for the spotlight so should it be from a fic of ours? and how long should it be? a sentence or two?
For writers it should be a sentence or two from a fic or a piece of writing you're proud of!

hi! do you guys have a final number of how many writers/card artists/merch artists/pinch hitters were accepted or is that still being finalized?
We have the final numbers and results have been sent out, here's the break down for our over all team! 58 contributors over all with:
39 card artists [2 cards per artist], 4 guests
5 writers [1 per suit]
7 merch artists, 1 guests
7 mods

We haven't yet! Due to the volume of applications we'll be pushing our results to JULY 14TH (1 week from today). We apologize for the inconvenience and will send updates if things change.

Previous experience is not required! It does help to have examples of simplified art such as Chibis.

Hi! Sorry if this feels repetitive since I know you've gotten similar questions, but I'm trying to nail down what might make for a decent writer application. I know that with the tarot descriptions, it won't exactly be fanfiction, so would it be better to write up a character analysis or something to use as an example? Or should we just treat the apps the same way as zines and pick whatever pieces seem to be our best, despite being a totally different writing style?
Both are good, as writers will not only be working on the descriptions but will also have opportunities to write shorter pieces like poetry, diary entries, or flash fiction.

Is it alright if our merch art portfolios and card art portfolios overlap?
Over lap is fine! I would suggest including examples of merch, simplified versions of characters such as Chibis, or mock ups of merch so mods know what to expect!

hi, excited for this!! wanted to ask, how long and detailed do pitches have to be? cuz there's just the one space to write them and you can't separate verses so should we be as short as we can or should we write our entire vision?
Don't worry about being too detailed, giving us the general idea of what you'd like to create is better than sending tons and tons of info. If you're more of a visual person however, feel free to send an image link to a rough thumbnail!
