The companies were so vicious to jimin and yoongi. The company told them to break it off or let them market their relationship to the companies’ advantages and they refused. In retaliation, both their companies put their careers on hold. Yoongi and Joon’s collab was cancelled. Jimin wasn’t getting any modeling jobs. His brand deals were on hold. Yoongi got invited to the billboard awards but his company wouldn’t let him go. Jimin and Yoongi were starting to get tense with each other but forced themselves to work it through because they didn’t want to give in to their companies. They couldn’t even DATE without their companies threatening to ruin their careers. Eventually they agreed to the contract where they were to keep everything under wraps and private. Because they refused to let each other’s careers tank. You can only imagine Jimin dealing with the sheer panic ALONE when oh seung the fucking devil threatened to take everything away, yoongi’s tour etc, because jimin was pregnant. He had no choice but to give in and leave. It WAS so bad before when they were simply dating. A pregnancy in that moment of their careers would have ended them. Jimin made the right decision to leave. Now two years later Yoongi has leverage. He has made a real name for himself. That’s what we saw in his latest meeting with his company before he went out with Jimin and the boys. But Yoongi didn’t have that leverage when Jimin got pregnant. It’s sad but it’s true.
