It depends. I don’t think it’s hard for me to cut people off when they get on my nerves. However, I also believe that I don’t do this without proper thinking and consideration. I always give people chances, but if they continue doing the same thing—it’s not easy for me to accept them back as a friend. The relationship was broken for a reason.

I am pretty much a dry texter myself. How can I respond to this? Mmm, maybe you could try to show genuine interest while they’re talking and ask open-ended questions so that their responses could be more detailed. One important point is that you have to try to understand whether they are comfortable with long texts or not, since sometimes longer texts can make them tired and uninterested at some point. Hope it helps.
