Hello, why does the zine not have cover art?
Hello! We wanted to maintain the handbook feel of the zine concept, leaning more towards a sketchbook or journal type rather than an art and writing book like most zines!

Hi, I would like some clarification on writer apps. What's the difference between "best work(s)" and "portfolio"? Are the best works the best pieces in our portfolio? The Carrd says writers must provide "3 samples of writing" — is that what the portfolio should entail? Thank you.
Hello! Your "best works" are things that you want to showcase from within your portfolio for the mods to pay special attention to, as we may not read every fic included in the portfolio. The "3 samples of writing" is the minimum to be included in your portfolio. Thank you!

hello! what kind of writing are you planning to feature in this zine? 500-1k words for writing samples is extremely short, esp since you're asking for a completed piece within that word count, which very few people are going to have ready. are you looking for short one-scene mini-ficlets, or something more like short journal entries?
Hello! We are thinking of having writing that is more similar to research or describing the flora and fauna of Teyvat's regions, hence the "handbook" theme in our name. So that would be more similar to journal entries rather than fics with stories!
