Hi! The application form for artists only allows for one role to be chosen, is it meant to be a checklist?
Nope! That's a mistake "^-^ it's been corrected already, you should be able to choose multiple options now.

Hi!! For applying as a comic artist, is it okay if we can submit a page that is fully toned if we don't have a page that is colored? (I'm very inspired my maga ♡)

Because of the overwhelming amount of fantastic applications everyone put out, getting the results is taking longer than anticipated! However, we'll try to get them out as soon as possible and everyone will be notified through email!!

What is a spot artist and how is it different from the other art related positions?
A page artist makes a full illustration with a background that tells its own story. A Spot artist doesn't necessarily include backgrounds and are often smaller and simpler, usually going with pieces of writing!

Thank you so much for showing excitement in the zine!! Pixie hollow is so many people's childhoods and deserves to be brought back. As for your question, you can be part as many zines as you want while working as a contributor, including multiple editions for this zine specifically! Just make sure you look over all the schedules and make sure you have time to commit <3

This zine will allow all ships content as long as it doesn't include topics as incest or pedophilia.

Is there a maximum and minimum amount of pieces for the artist portfolio?
There are no min or maxs! However, we would recomend to keep it between 10 and 15 and select the pieces that best describe your work <3

Do we need to be 18 to apply or can contributors be minors? I was confused as to whether this is required or not, sorry. :[
(for context, I will not be 18 until next year, so I will not be 18 during applications)
A portion of the funds of the project will be split evenly among mods and contributors (the other portion will be donated to a charity). Since in a lot of countries it's ilegal to pay minors, all contributors MUST be at least 18 years old at the time of the opening preorders date. Here you have our estimated preorders dates:
Spring Edition: March 21st 2025
Summer Edition: June 21st 2025
Autumn Edition: September 21st 2025
Winter Edition: December 21st 2025
If you won't be 18 before any of this dates, I'm afraid we won't be able to have you as a contributor.

Hi! I am not native french but i can speak fluently. I would love to contribute to the zine as a translator. When and how would i be able to do this?
The original plan for this zine was to offer an english-spanish translated version. The addition of any other lenguage to the project will be subject to the results of the Interest Check. In other words: if we get a high interest for a french version we will consider the opening of a french translator application <3
