sees - in pokeau because of the Shtuff with the bridge and all that, i have htem in a whole separate new region in my head LOL but for the preexisting ones...its tough, but im really feeling kalos.........like the setting of tatsumi port island and all of that as a whole reminded me of kalos the most. and i can see everyone as a kalos trainer one way or another

investigation team - i think ill say kanto or johto? with no other reason than, they seem to be the least bustling busy, and more land-focused (unlike hoenn or alola), so. shrug. proces of elimination i guess idt about them often LOL

thieves - ok ik i Just was talking about them in galar, but i wanna say paldea. which is hard because i havent played more than an hour of scarvo, or watched any of the gen 9 anime, but my friend has a really good area zero & maruki concept, and i heard team star has similarities to the thiveeves

omg this is such a good question but its soo hard to say!!!!
if you think about it in the sense of "averaging" out the designs of each gen, i think gen 4 could win, because the good designs of final evolutions it gave to previous lines (gliscor, magmortar etc) could raise up that average a little
i dont have a strong immediate Personal answer though- gen 7 feels like it introduces new "modern" pokemon while still feeling pokemon-y, gen 3 has so many serious solid mons, and well. i mean everyone talks about gen 5. and im behind on gen 8-9 but gen 8's designs are pretty solid too

but if i did have to choose a personal favorite...proooobably gen 4 yeah. balance of that "average" thing i said and also..bias lol...i grew up with gen 4
