For artists, we offer these options when applying:

• 2 full illustrations
• 1 full illustration + 2 spot/merch
• 3-4 spot art
• 2 page spread
• comic

For people who don't want to commit to two full illustrations, which we do understand is a large undertaking, we really encourage considering a spot-art role, or a 1 page/1 spot role!

Of course, we know this is still a lot to ask, so we'd just like to explain our reasoning so that people can understand why we'd structure things this way.

Because this project is going to run quite large in scale, we're choosing to double-up on roles in this way in order to keep the production cost of contributor bundles from rising to excess. When there are both SFW and NSFW roles available, it's already quite typical to have many writers doing two pieces rather than one, so we've chosen to focus on creating a few options for artists that, while dividing the work more efficiently, are flexible enough to not be overwhelming.

We really hope this brings a little more clarity to the process and helps it feel less daunting.
