I feel Kyou is reserved and quite Autistic about emotions, not that he doesn’t empathize but because he’s not used to such a thing having been focused on his work for so long. I feel Tan is the one who will start with subtle things here and there, before finally giving Kyou a note or confessing to his face in private. Kyou can be blunt about what he wants but I feel him and romance haven’t tangoed before and it kind of makes him nervous
