I want to get into animation. Where should I start?
Well, first thing is that you can find something to animate with. It doesn't need to be conventional either; I used Scratch as one of my first ways of animating. And then, I recommend just playing around and doing what you want. Mess around, study how others' animations work. Watch animations frame by frame and copy their techniques in your own work.
Admittedly this isn't the most professional answer, maybe it isn't all that helpful, but when I started animating all I did was draw a cat moving it's arms because I felt like it. The quality didn't really matter, and I got better simply by just doing it more. I understand it might be hard, but simply trying to do it is good enough :o doesn't matter what it is as long as you're enjoying it.
