I've been staring at this question for a while! I think it's hard because like, any realistic answer starts involving talking about Vyl as A Young and I don't want anyone to get weird about such a thought exercise.

Honestly though, the realistic answer is probably the same as it was for me - when I was a teenager. :9

I think they all get the right amount of exposure for their place since I'm pretty in control of that.

That said, I really want to do more with Azoth, my arctic-fox who isn't really. Hopefully I can finish his story sometime this year - I think his arc will be really interesting to read.

They're good! I tend to like them for lower-stakes and less serious Vyl situations. If I'm taking over the world or whatever it's usually more of an obvious situation, but for example I recently had an idea involving Vyl basically making a worldwide network of zonked guys to keep him company while he travels, marked by a specific wristwatch so they can be identified. And that's really fun.

I really need to get better answers to this question given my experience level. I'm sorry I don't have something for you now, but I'm not as confident in my ability to provide general advice as I am to give advice when I'm working one-on-on.

That said, I think my first pointer would be to ask your sub or switch friends you trust. Consensus from subs I've talked to is that (somewhat embarrassingly for my cohort, incl me!) other subs and switches who sub give better advice on this topic than the hypnotists most of the time.

Physically: Probably two, more than that would be very overstimulating. In general? I haven't hit diminishing returns in real life -yet-, but I'd guess it'd start kicking in around 9 or 10.

I don't think it's realistic for most people, as much fun as the thought of making someone a one-note fixated drone is! But really the answer is just mindplay in general. The presence of mental domination is, itself, the most important kink for me. Everything else is extra and can be swapped out.

That was my original answer, but now I'm not sure if you mean this more in a "Oh, you always liked [kink]" kind of way. In that case, it's probably convincing people they were always really eager to mesmerize others. ;)

If I only get to pick one it's gotta be visors. They have a lot of aesthetic and conditioning-method flexibility you wouldn't get with, say, an earpiece!
