OUU THATS A GOOD QUESTION! im a bit rusty on my lore. I overall am glad they made him to expand a bit on the bloodline universe but I feel he raises more questions to the few answers we had, at least with the original bloodline story. Personally in my own little mind I always just liked to think hes the evil snail in Nidhoggs ear that likes to cause her problems by bringing conflict to the church. But for true canon I like to think he was trying to overthrow the church to have more power to spread chaos across the land and cause greater conflict with the bloodline n other stuff since Ratatosk is a being of discord ect ect and maybe it would make him powerful? idk. Again I'm very rusty on my lore and I'm sorry if I misinterpreted the question I prolly sound RIDICULOUS rn 😵‍💫
