I've never played Link's Awakening before. What non-spoilery things would you recommend I keep in mind for my first playthrough?

  1. sword goes on A
  2. if you're playing the DX version, some photos are permanently missable
  3. there is no shame in using a guide or walkthrough, but you probably won't need one
