aww this is so cute 😭 hakka with pretty tail feathers! maybe it would be black and purple, with tiny accents of gold that show especially in the sunlight and when he flies, the gold accents in his feathers glint brightly...so pretty....
especially adorable in the case where hakka has lived his entire life without feathers until either he becomes one with the karasutengu, or maybe when he finds a suspicious potion and ends up drinking it, giving him little tail feathers! they start growing in so at first hakka didnt notice them and assumed that the potion didnt do anything, until one day, why is it hard for him to pull his shirt down? it keeps riding up so hakka reaches to his back and thats when he feels it, a tiny fan of feathers sprouting from his back!!
theyre very soft and silky and hakka wishes he could see his back to see what color they are so he takes a mirror to see that theyre a mix of purple and black like the two colors of his hair! (maybe accents of white too like his one white hair strand?)
hakka isnt sure if he wants the boys to know but it eventually doesnt stay an option because the tail feathers grow faster than he expected and now he cant hide them, needing to buy clothes that suit his body more which just so happen to be low cut pants and crop tops all to make space for his tail feathers. hakka is flustered showing off so much skin, he doesnt tend to show off his abdomen but he doesnt have a choice now, deciding to go with a skin tight black crop top (like his first outfit black shirt but he probably just took scissors and cut off the midriff) ugh hakka in a crop top and low waist pants with cute tail feathers would save me....
the boys are very predictably surprised by this new revelation and tease hakka about it for a while, calling him a chicken and asking if he can fly, so hakka gets all red in the cheeks and bounces angrily about how no he cant fly, and the boys just chuckle because they like riling up the little brat. they do help hakka out with finding new clothes and how to care for his new tail feathers, and in the rare moments where hakka feels insecure about his new bodily change, the boys make sure to be gentle and honest that the feathers suit him, that he looks cute and he has nothing to be worried about

also not to be me, usual hakka enjoyer who likes to put him in the worse situations, but i think it was an demon king altare x hakka ask i got where there was a prompt about hakkas wings getting clipped mhm and i cant help but think about that right now too with this prompt, altare being obsessed with how gorgeous hakkas pretty feathers are and just wanting to keep them for himself, possessive and jealous. he starts off little by little, by suddenly one day just petting hakkas feathers and always staring at them. hakka is a little put off by the intense stare from his leader but hakka knows how pretty his feathers are so he doesnt blame altare and just lets him stare, until it escalates to atare one day pulling a feather out. it hurts so much and hakka makes this cute little yelp noise, "ow! leader! why did you do that?!" but it seems like altare doesnt even see hakka or care about how much pain hes put the cute songbird in, all to enamoured by the feather in his hands and how much he wants more. eventually altare isnt happy enough with a feather, he wants more, he wants hakka, so he takes hakka for himself and clips his wings so he isnt able to fly away, keeping those feathers all for himself
