until a mysterious alpha in black clad with smiling mask throwing three bag full of gold coins. it arouses a challenging nature to other alphas that trying to compete with hua cheng. hua cheng scoffs in amusement before gesturing to yin yu to give them big amount bag of golds worth to be a whole country and everyone's jaw drops.
that's how hua cheng finally brings xie lian to paradise manor. xie lian is indeed very fierce and strong yet it's because he is hurt and scared.
YASSSS AS HE SHOULD
I imagine Hua Cheng has long been working to from scratch to establish himself — maybe he first met Xie Lian when he was just a child on the streets, with a hostile home and an abusive father and stepmother, and Xie Lian was the only light in his life. But Xie Lian was a son from a wealthy family, so Hua Cheng promised that he would gain the status to court him. Of course that was before everything turned against Xie Lian — his family fell into debt and his parents passed away.
Over the years Hua Cheng gained some ties amongst criminals and when he found out about the auction and that Xie Lian was going to be a part of it, he was determined that he must be the one to buy him out.
