Detail I forgot to add, Hua Cheng had been really busy for that week, so much so he hadn’t come home. Xie Lian wouldn’t have been so receptive to their daughter’s pheromones if Hua Cheng had been around that week. It appears that the Ghost King will now have to punish his wife and renew his claim on his beloved omega 😩 (ofc Hua Cheng is understanding and he knows that Xie Lian most of all wanted tk help their child, so he just takes this as an excuse to knot his wife, and maybe even put another baby in his tummy 😌)
