Oh, It's the same with me (toxic relationships give me a strong trigger) i didn't really ask specifically about any trope, but i particularly wanted to comment on something. I've been writing for a short time and I'd really like to explore my stories (i only write about light bdsm) and is there something i wanted to write about but I'm really afraid of being judged or seen as weird? It's nothing like what you mentioned (like i said, i don't like those topics either) but I think I tried to explain my situation well. I'm just a little nervous about a lot of things and especially about this desire to explore kinks that I already read about and wanted to write about as well.
That's understandable! It can be daunting to write about things for the first time. Some advice I will give - make sure you fully research the kink before writing, not just going off of what you know from other fics. There are many bdsm themes that are often written wrong - e.g. choking (there should never be any pressure applied to the esophagus, only ever the arteries that supply blood to the neck to give the feeling of breathlessness).
