I saw this before when it was first sent, I just didn’t want to look at the rest of my inbox at that time, but your message did help me 🙏 And I really appreciate it. I honestly think that regardless of which fandom it is there’s always going to be someone throwing a fit or telling ppl to kts over things they don’t like 😵‍💫.

Its not even limited to people who blindly hate on fixed shipping, there are also fixed shippers who are like that… in my experience I’ve gotten attacked by the serial switchers in tomarry for liking bottom harry only and attacked by the fixed bottom Draco’s in drarry (aka the HPDMs) for liking bottom harry / DMHP only 😂. One because it was the popular dynamic (tmrhp) and ppl felt it was somehow morally wrong and that u were a bad person because of it, and the other because the shippers (weirdo hpdms) thought Harry being a bottom didn’t make sense because apparently you can’t like strong bottoms and apparently bottoms are all fragile cowards LOL. Admittedly the tomarry one was weird to me bc not only was it the worst I’ve seen it compared to my other fandoms about hate for fixed shipping, but also I thought it’s supposed to be a space where it was more lax about “fiction affecting reality” compared to like, the drarry fandom and marauders fandom currently which are FULL of antis and usually have the worst takes 💀 I still like bottom harry and TMRHP (and lvhp / tmrhp only, not hptmr or hplv lol) I just usually talk to my friends about them privately these days… but I’ll try to do it publicly again 😁!

I think ppl have this idea that I condemn other ppl for liking things that I don’t click with, when really the problem I’ve had was people being offended when I state my preferences. I mark up my bio everywhere so ppl know, and I don’t like anything else. People shouldn’t be surprised or offended by a stranger stating their preferred likes :/ The only time I ever feel the need to “talk shit” lol is when I see dumb takes from ppl with no media literacy, standard antis, or assholes who want to make things difficult for others. Just bad behavior I observe… Why, recently the new ship I’m into (top Neuvillette x bottom wriothesley from genshin impact haha) the t/b dynamic I like is the less popular one and I see the same things over and over again. I just don’t like the whole idea of attacking people or somehow acting morally better because someone has a strict t/b preference.
