AITA for not stopping Darkest Day?

So as you all know, Macro Cosmos recently had a PR issue when our president awoke a sleeping extraterrestrial pokémon in order to supply our region with an infinite energy supply. However this was mismanaged and Leon was unable to contain Eternatus which resulted in a minor rampage; albeit one with zero casualties or even property damage. I was aware that the event was planned and looked over the plans, if not for the beast being woken as early, it would not have become enraged and we would have solved the global energy crisis! Of course Rose jumped the gun and it ended up being a mess. He turned himself in but he's vanished and Oleana's doing part-time community service while my son and I are cleaning up the mess.

Everyone says "I should have stopped him" but I wasn't in the city at the time and not psychic either. None of us knew Rose was doing that but I confess I still feel guilt even though there was nothing I could have done. AITA?

Edit: I see a lot of people saying "bruh, L take + ratio + no maidens" and I have to say I am a 50 year old man. I have no idea what you mean.
